Over on Facebook, LAIKA/House is having a contest to create your own ParaNorman character-- be it a ghost, missing zombie, or terrified Blithe Hollow resident-- and then submit it to them with a backstory explaining why they didn't appear in the movie.

Oooooh, ths really seems to fit the style! I mean, I haven't seen it, I think it's only just come out over here but Coraline was great so it ought to be worth watching!

Seems like a strange competition though. I would have assumed it would happen BEFORE the film was made so that there'd be the chance for them to appear in it!

Well......maybe there'll be a sequel!?
